Marina Del Rey Hospital is inviting the Los Angeles community to a free women’s health seminar. The seminar will focus on the “The Latest Advances in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeries” and feature leading Gynecological surgeon, Dr. David Ghozland. HIKE
Los Serenos de Point Vicente Hike. Join in for an easy hike/tour of the Point Vicente Lighthouse, the PVIC museum, the native plant garden and a walk along the spectacular bluff top at the Vicente Bluff Reserve. SPIN TO WIN
Your’re invited to a Spin class at Spectrum Club, 819 Harbor N. Drive, Redondo Beach. Your $25 donation will help support the Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles. Reservations are a must. Class is open to the first 26 people. Members and friends are welcome. Strand Brewery and Fresh Brothers Pizza will be providing refreshments after class. “DICK” A.J. TRACY
Dick passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at his home in Hermosa Beach. Per Dick’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial services. However, Dick’s friends are gathering at Summer’s Sports Bar & Grill, 3770 Highland Ave., Manhattan Beach at 12 noon, to toast their friend who has gone on to another adventure. All are welcome.

Automobile Driving Museum Lecture Series. Richard Stanley, will trace the evolution of the American automobile to 1970 and will discuss its connection to architecture, and other applied arts especially in relation to the contribution of Harley Earl. CLASSIC RACE
The 39th Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race. A traditional paddleboard race from Catalina Island to Manhattan Beach. Started in 1955, the Catalina Classic is the oldest and most celebrated endurance paddleboard race in the world. The historic 32-mile marathon, which begins at the Isthmus and ends at the Manhattan Beach Pier, attracts paddlers from all over the world and is known as the ‘Grand-Daddy of all Paddleboard Races.’ Visit catalinaclassicpaddleboardrace.org.
