The Hennessey Paddleboard Festival return to Redondo Beach on Saturday, July 27 with an eight mile race from Torrance  Beach to the R10 buoy and back, and shorter races for Junior Lifeguards and kids. Prone and stand-up division, men’s and women’s divisions. Registration 7 a.m. at Torrance Beach. The races will be followed by a paddleboard festival in Riviera Village. Cancer Support Community, Redondo Beach in partnership with Spectrum Athletic Clubs Redondo Beach present a play activity for Kids ages 5-12 who have a close friend or family member with cancer. 2:30 – 4 p.m. Spectrum Athletic Club, 819 N. VOLLEYBALL
The ASICS World Series of Volleyball will hit the beaches of Long Beach, for a week long festival celebrating the highest level of beach volleyball.
