ET Surf is a “Surfer’s Surf Shop,” with hundreds of surfboards in stock at all times..
“We are about surfing actually,” laughed shop co-manager Dan Connell “We might not make as much as profit by carrying the more profitable things, but we’ve got all your surfing needs.”
Besides carrying the largest selection of Lost Surfboards in LA County, ET Surf carries Channel Islands, JS, Firewire, Donald Takayama and many other premium brands. And of course boards by shop shaper Pat Ryan, who has been with ET since the shop opened in 1972.. To top it all off, Eddie Talbot’s surfboard collection make ET Surfboards a surf museum.
“My son came to work with me one day and was bored,” Connell said. “He spent the afternoon counting every single surfboard in the shop, He counted 673.”
