Emily Baum, or Miss Emily as her students called her, won best music lessons this year because of her new downtown Hermosa Beach location and loyal music students.
“Teaching here is all about loving what I do,” Baum said. “I’m making a living by teaching and inspiring children and adults alike.”
Baum’s studio is located in the heart of Hermosa Beach at 200 Pier Ave., and she lives just two blocks away. She is known for her exuberant personality and love for all things music. She teaches basic piano lessons for all ages as well as a music as a therapy class and music storytime for children ages one through six.
