Tuesday’s City Council meeting was canceled that same afternoon “due to the lack of posting” of the meeting agenda. State law requires the city to post the agenda 72 priors to the meeting in five places: two boards outside City Hall, the library, Joslyn Center and Manhattan Heights Community Center. City Manager Dave Carmany said council and city staff are in the process of rescheduling the meeting.
Following Wednesday’s showcase of Mira Costa’s jazz bands, the Mira Costa concert band, symphonic band and wind ensemble with special guests from the Philharmonic Orchestra will close out the two-day concert series Friday at 7 p.m. at the Mira Costa auditorium.
