Dine LA by the bay
The Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation is encouraging South Bay residents to celebrate Dine L.A. this week by dining out at one of the nearly 400 South Bay residents with the Clean Bay Restaurant certificate in their window. Certified restaurants have adopted storm water runoff prevention measures.
“It’s a mutually beneficial program. By keeping our ocean clean, restaurants benefit from tourists who come to enjoy the bay,” said Elaine Jeng, P.E., Acting Principal Civil Engineer for the City of Redondo Beach. The City inspects restaurants six times per year, Jeng noted.
South Bay certified restaurants are listed on SantaMonicaBay.org.
