‘Why I Heart Manhattan Beach’ art contest winners announced [PHOTOS]

At the opening reception of the “I Heart MB” exhibition Tuesday, Mayor Wayne Powell recognized the first, second and third place winners of the contest as well as three honorable mentions.

First place: Charles Lynn Bragg, “Painting Janice Painting Manhattan Beach”

Second place: James Gill, “Centennial Sunset”

Third place: Cinthia Joyce, “View from the Pier”

Honorable mentions: Olivia Becker,  Andrew Downs and John Post.
