Success by the Sea
Marymount College Palos Verdes – San Pedro held their biennial scholarship gala on the grounds of the Palos Verdes camps this past September. The evening’s honorees included Burt Arnold, chairman of the Marymount College Board of Trustees, DeDe Hicks, President and CEO of the Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach, and Liz Schindler Johnson, the driving force of the Grand Vision Foundation preserving and promoting the historic Warner Grand Theatre. Since the last gala in 2010 Marymount College has experienced tremendous enrollment growth. This fall they admitted their 1,000 student due to planning and implementation of new programs and additional facilities.
