The Associates, a support group for the Palos Verdes Art Center, held their very popular Celebrate Chefs & Cellars event in late July at an elegant ocean view residence in Palos Verdes Estates. The 2012 Celebrate Chefs and Cellars, an epicurean journey to benefit the Palos Verdes Art Center, featured a silent auction and 30 restaurants and wineries serving up tempting morsels and refreshing spirits to guests attending this year’s festivities. Participating restaurants included Addi’s Tandoor Indian Cuisine, Bluewater Grill, Gaetano’s Restaurant & Bar, Lisa’s Bon Appetit, Lunada Bay House, Matisse Restaurant of the Ayres Hotel, Olivers Café, Ortega 120, The Queensview Steakhouse at Parkers’ Lighthouse, Ports O’Call Waterfront Dining, Restaurant Christine, The Yellow Vase and Trump National Golf Club, as well as specialty foods from Montchevre’ Goat Cheese.
